The Internet is outraged after a vintage Kent State sweatshirt that looked as though it was covered with bloodstains appeared on Urban Outfitters' website for $129
It evoked memories of the shooting known as the Kent State Massacre, which occurred at the Ohio university on May 4, 1970; the Ohio National Guard opened fire on unarmed college students, killing four and injuring nine

Pilot strikes are starting to have serious effects on travel in western Europe. About half of Air France flights were canceled on Monday as the airline's pilots began a weeklong strike.
Pilots are angry that the company is shifting jobs and operations to a low-cost carrier, which management says is necessary for keeping up with rivals.
Air France is not alone. Europe's flagship airlines are facing tough competition from budget airlines, like Ryanair and easyJet, which offer short-haul flights at bargain basement prices. Budget airlines base their business on fitting more people on flights and charging extra fees for everything from carry-on luggage to assigned seats. A European spacecraft flying alongside a comet in deep space finally has a place to land after a 10-year journey through the solar system.
The European Space Agency on Monday unveiled the target landing site on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko for the Philae lander riding aboard the agency's Rosetta mission. Mission controllers picked a drop zone called "Site J" as the primary target from five potential landing sites shortlisted in late August. If all goes well, the lander will touch down on the comet on Nov. 11.
"There are flat areas, but there is also rough terrain," Stephan Ulamec, Philae Lander Manager at the DLR German Aerospace Center, said of Site J during a news conference on Sept. 15. "There are some cliffs, there are some boulders. [...] It's not a perfectly flat area as we probably would have hoped for a safe landing site."
